!!! HAPPY 42 HUBBY !!!

!!! HAPPY 42 HUBBY (neilf) !!!

As he said on twitter:
" I am now officially 42, a very special number in my life. I will now remain 42 forever."

Totally reasonable, if you ask me. Not only is it the most important number and the meaning of life, the universe and everything, it is also twice the age than many women (not me) swear to remain! ;-p *hugs hubby*

Happy Birthday from me to your hubby too! Hey, I used to be on your reader's list and fell off somewhere along the line. I had something you wrote once called "What Does MS Feel Like?" that really touched me (I have it too.) Would you mind very much please adding me back to your "lurk list"? I would sure appreciate it! Thanks hon!

I am happy to add you if you are happy to agree to the sticky post at the top of the page on natf which says:

This journal is 'friends-only'
PLEASE READ "My Request to you", "The Truce" and my userinfo before you add me to your 'Friends List' or ask to be added to mine.

Most of my journal entries are now 'friends-only'/filtered/protected, except for the odd meme, joke or link to my photography/artwork journals.

You will need to email me (my address is in my profile), or comment on one of my public entries, with your LiveJournal username or OpenID if you want to ask me that you be added to my 'friends list' (the list of people who can see and read my locked/protected/filtered entries).

N.B. Nobody has the 'right to reply' on my journal if I chose to disable comments or invoke the truce. It is my journal and its contents need to be under my control for my own mental health. This is the right of any/all LiveJournal user(s).

I reserve the right to delete any comments on my journal that do not respect my boundaries (that I need some subjects to not be discussed in public) or that refer to protected or filtered entries (or the subject matter of such) in a public comment.

I believe that it is a pity that LiveJournal calls it the 'Friends List'. I call it my 'Reading list' - people whose journals I read and that I want to allow to read mine. People do not automatically become my friend because they are on my reading list, but they may become my friend over time. Friendship, in both directions, has to be earned IMHO.

Sorry about that heavy-handedness - I have had to tighten the boundaries in here after a couple of people (PwMS, coincidentally) tried to tell me how to live my life whilst, no doubt, trying to be helpful but, instead, just making me stressed and ill...

Have you changed your journal's name? I don't remember it, but that does not always mean much... ;-p
