Worlds Within Our Worlds: Macro Photos of Everyday Objects | Colossal

Watch this video of beautifully lit macro photos of everyday objects by photographer Pyanek (who also scored the audio) and see how many objects you can guess. I failed miserably. (via Colossal Submissions)

Well, I got quite a lot of these right. Then again I have used a microscope quite a lot in my day (and even an electron microscope at uni). I would, however, prefer that Colossal had called these photos what they are, Micro Photographs, rather than what they are not, Macro Photographs. Just sayin'. The dandelion clock in my userpic is a macro photograph. These are all taken as much higher magnification than mere macro.
