Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, really wrote a real letter to her mother complaining about the feels in 1782.

I love everything.

Are you beset by feels?

Urban Dictionary’s top entry for ‘feels’ is from 2012. Took a while for the word to catch on after the Duchess of Devonshire’s use of it, but here we are.
