I am doing this!

Copied from a comment on an earlier post:

If I learn nothing else from doing IndyWriMo I hope that it will be the discipline of trying to write a certain amount of words per day. I am also trying to train my family (mum and hubby) that this is now my day-job - even if it is yet to make us any money. I am trying to make this my focus - the rediscovery of a vocation I felt as a child, teen and young adult but had lost along the way during working and dealing with undiagnosed multiple sclerosis vertigo and fatigue.

I can do this. I WILL do this.

Thank you all so much for your support and encouragement!

Today was my 0-word day so far this month but that is okay.

After the end of November when NaNo and IndyWriMo are over, if I decide to write 500, 2000 or stick to 1000 words per day - or allow myself to merely write something every day (whether on one project or on five at a time) - I will work out a system and process that work for me. I may continue this book until it is finished if 30k ends up not being long enough. I may call it done at 30k and call it a novella. I may put it to one side for a while, rewrite it, or even edit it down to 10k words. All of these are okay and, even if it does not sell, I will be learning and practicing.
