Hummingbird Hawk Moth

This is a Hummingbird Hawk Moth, taken with my 7.2 megapixel Casio Exilim EX-Z750. You can see his proboscis as he drinks from the flower whilst still in flight, but his wings were moving too fast to be caught by the camera. It is a crop from a much larger image. This was the first time I had ever seen one of these moths and I had no idea what it was - initially I thought it was actually a tiny hummingbird - they fly around and sound almost identical! I only discovered what it was by typing 'hummingbird' into the search box at the UKMoths website.
