Colour meme

you are darkslateblue

Your dominant hue is blue, making you a good friend who people love and trust. You're good in social situations and want to fit in. Just be careful not to compromise who you are to make them happy.

Your saturation level is medium - You're not the most decisive go-getter, but you can get a job done when it's required of you. You probably don't think the world can change for you and don't want to spend too much effort trying to force it.

Your outlook on life can be bright or dark, depending on the situation. You are flexible and see things objectively.

Although I used to be more:
you are darkgreen

Your dominant hue is green. You're logical and steadfast, focused on figuring life out and doing what makes sense. You value being trusted because you know you're taking the time to figure things out and everyone should just follow you.

Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.

Your outlook on life is slightly darker than most people's. You try to see things for what they are and face situations honestly. You'd rather get to the point than look for what's good.

And green is probably my favourite colour.

How interesting. What changed you?

Off-topic - thanks for posting that link about pain to friendly_crips. It's very good. But I rather wish you hadn't said 'posted by request' which makes it so obvious that I asked you to post it. Sometimes I feel quite discouraged about that comm, as though I have to keep coaxing for it not to be just my voice.

Oh well. I think I'll post the link about mental illness, that you linked to on your blog. Hope you don't mind. Perhaps you didn't want to post it to the comm.

Ideally please keep comments about posts on the post in question in case the post you are commenting on has a different filter / friends group than the post you are commenting about so that secrets are not leaked to other readers. In this case both posts are public and so this does not apply, I am just mentioning it in case it is relevant in the future. This is usual LJ etiquette and I know that I have been on LJ for more years than you have.

I rarely post to communities but read them on my LJFriends page. I will cross-post my posts to a community when someone asks me to. I will almost never remember to otherwise. I am very matter of fact (you may have noticed) and will sometimes say that I cross-posted by request because it is a truth but sometimes I will forget to.

To be honest I think you worry too much about this "by request" thing. We all know you are the moderator of that community (well, those that belong to and read the community - i.e. those that matter - do anyway). Some of us remember to post to the community and all of us love to read the posted posts/links whomever or whatever prompted their posting. We all appreciate you creating and moderating the community.

Just my £0.02p.

P.S. What changed me? Life and MS. My brain does not work at all like it used to when I was a child/teen.
