I had a neat idea!

Do any of you make jewelery or knitting stitch markers? If so, a set of (10?) stitch markers (snag-less like these, preferably) made with spoon charms something like these or silver-coloured (more here) would be really neat for those of us with chronic-fatigue illnesses (c.f. The Spoon Theory - spoonies) that knit!

i figured out how to make spoons! i cut one out of sterling sheet with my saw(i think it's 22g sheet, it might be slightly thinner as it was sheet i rolled for part of a tea service years ago) and found a tiny dapping tool and have a spoon! i think what i am going to do is make a master, have a cutting punch made of the spoon shape, make a special master to make the bowl of the spoon, and it will be simple to mass produce them rather than the having to cut each one out of sheet, file, sand, heat, quench, dap, heat again, all of that. and if you have no idea what i am talking about, that's ok. then i can solder different sized jump rings closed(i do make those myself anyways, so i can make them as large or as small as needed) and with the collection of semi-precious and precious stone beads i have, i could do anything from tigers eye beads to tanzanite. now i am getting excited and peeved i have to wait until wednesday to call the guy who makes the master punches.

and then i can have him make the punches bigger by percentages for charms, pendants, earrings, pins, you name it. you are brilliant!!!!

I already have a shop on Etsy for my jewelry. I have only ever made one sale, and that was years ago. When I promote my shop on Facebook, no one's interested. When I promote it to my friends, no one's interested, and I'm close to giving up on trying to sell stuff online. Therefore, I doubt I could get anyone to buy stitch markers, either. But maybe free giveaways might get someone, somewhere, interested?
