Color Affection Noodling and Decisions

I made the mistake of buying four colours of yarn and now I cannot decide which three to do for my Color Affection! This yarn is not the nice soft recommended merino but is 75% superwash wool and 25% nylon – ideal for socks but maybe a little too coarse for a shawl. I did get gauge with the suggested 4 mm needles, though, and knitted these samplers using that needle size. Now I just have to choose one and start the shawl.

Those look remarkably similar until I blow it up. What's Color Affection?

If you click through to my Ravelry project page (public) via the natalieford.com page, you can see better photos of each sampler. The four yarns/colours are listed there and are grey, blue, green and purple (although the latter seems to look more brown against these others). Color Affection is a tricolour shawl pattern (on Ravelry and on google, also google images) that a lot of people are knitting at the moment and that I have had in my Ravelry queue for quite some time.

Oh, Wow, wow that is beautiful.... There are few shawls that I want to knit but wow, yes.

My favorite is the top one, but any of the ones with the lightest hue in them look lovely - if you wanted an opinion. If you didn't, please feel free to ignore <3

Grey blue and green? Yes, I think that is my favourite as well.

P.S. Are you on Ravelry, I forget? I am natalieford on there as you may have gathered.

Yay, agreement.

Not as much on Rav as I used to be, but I'm aldersprig there.
