Wordplay

We had a thunder storm earlier and I laid down for a nap just as it started because it was turning my brain to mush. That said, as so often happens as I lie down to sleep, my creativity spikes and the following words ran around in my head:

"The lightning was lightening the scene."

Also:

"My bag was lightening as I used up the contents but this was cancelled out by the lightning storm weighing everything down with rain water."

*smiles* One of my pet peeve mis-spellings is when people use 'lightening' instead of 'lightning'.
