In case they have changed the question again, the question I am answering is:
If you could book a trip to the moon for $10,000, would you save up your cash and go? Why or why not?
Well, I would if the money could not be better used in another way and if I was magically and suddenly able to have an income that allowed me to save. At all. Also, if I was able to travel to the moon in such a way that did not risk my health considering that I have MS and a number of other "health concerns". I think the weightlessness of space and the much lower gravity of the moon would be awesome to experience. I dream about being able to swim through air/float/fly all the time and, as my mobility slowly reduces over time, this increase in mobility would be worth the fee.
In case they have done what I am guessing they may have done and changed this question to the one tweeted the other day about winning a trip to the moon instead of having to save up for it then let me just say that I would LEAP at the chance, assuming all health considerations mentioned above.
I love and am drawn to the moon as seen from here. I wonder if visiting it in real life might temper that allure but think that it would be worth it in the long run. We only live so long and it would be yet another thing to see before I am no longer here. If only it were possible.
