YouTube - Sting Live in Berlin 2010 HD part 1

Just watched this on ITV (but they did not show the whole thing - pity). Downloading from YouTube using keepvid.com in case they decide to take them down. Have also added the DVD/CD to my amazon.com wishlist. Awesome new orchestral arrangements.

As the man sings, "Be yourself, no matter what they say."

The man can sing. And can hold a note. I love how he often sings in the Newcastle accent/dialect, e.g. in Why should I Cry For You (part 4). Why am I not surprised that he can play a harmonica as well? I had one once and it is NOT easy.

Jo Lawry. Wow. She is such a sublime singer. Cute too.

Bramber Marcelis on soprano saxophone, too. Stunning.

Then again I am biassed as an ex-alto-sax player and singer. I miss making music. Something else I 'used to be', I guess. I am even considering getting rid of my guitar having not played it for years.

I do love watching a conductor, though, after all those years playing in orchestras, concert bands and dance bands (nothing higher than school level, but never mind). Such a spectator sport / performance art!
