Promised post of Twi-dark links

Further to my earlier post about the Twilight franchise (henceforth known as Twi-dark), here are some links that I have collected that were referenced in other posts I have already linked to (or comments on my last post about this) and that you may or may not find interesting in that context. Just links. No names or commentary. Have at them!

P.S. I realised that I bought an eReader version of Twilight (book I) last year but had not read it. I cannot remember if I tried to read it and gave up or never bothered to read it. In an attempt to address my concerns that I am criticising books and films that I have not read or watched, I am going to try to attempt to read it. It is on my iPhone. Wish me luck!

The first link about making the 4th book into the movie is priceless. I think that the author missed a great opportunity to send a strong message about how life is precious and a great gift. I've only seen the movies but in New Moon, Bella worries about getting old with Edward while he's still young. Fair enough. But then Edward agrees to turn her. There's a little bit about "I don't want you to have this life, you'll lose your soul," but in the end, he agrees. WTF?!?!

Contrast this with the Sookie books, (which aren't for kids but in the same genre) and she adamantly states that she never wants to be turned, no matter what. I think those books show a decent respect for "being human" without hitting you over the head with it.

My main complaint about the books is that Bella is a HUGE Mary Sue.
