Promised post of Twi-dark links

Further to my earlier post about the Twilight franchise (henceforth known as Twi-dark), here are some links that I have collected that were referenced in other posts I have already linked to (or comments on my last post about this) and that you may or may not find interesting in that context. Just links. No names or commentary. Have at them!

P.S. I realised that I bought an eReader version of Twilight (book I) last year but had not read it. I cannot remember if I tried to read it and gave up or never bothered to read it. In an attempt to address my concerns that I am criticising books and films that I have not read or watched, I am going to try to attempt to read it. It is on my iPhone. Wish me luck!

Thank you for your comment!

I am not a hater as such and am actually finding book I to be readable thus far. I do worry about young girls in less supportive families than yours that might latch onto Bella's romances as life ideals without anyone to discuss it with. If it had come out when I was a tween or teen I know it would have dragged me into the #teamedward or more likely #teamjacob - I also know that I did not need any more literary examples of how abusive and dysfunctional relationships (e.g. Wuthering Heights) when I had planty of examples and experiences already in my real life.

I am nowhere near as worried for girls like yours who have support and a venue for intelligent discussion. I also liked the comment on one of these linked posts from a Mormon mother about how her Mormon daughter disagreed with her friends and disliked the book. I know that there are some girls out there that are strong enough to make up their own minds. Sadly, I was not one and I know there are many out there like me at age 14 and younger.

I really need to finish writing my memoir/biography.

P.S. I am able, these days, to find something funny even if I do not 100% agree with its sentiments.
