CIMG1265

CIMG1265, originally uploaded by natalief.

Coco's cardi is now officially a bomber jacket. I have added a simple crochet border on all cast-on and cast-off edges (my own diversion from the original pattern).

P.S. Smudge does not look too impressed in the background, though, does she… ;-p

Thank'ee teach! I am contemplating one button and a crochet loop where the folded back collar ends and the edges actually meet - or ties - or something ;-p

Thank you so much for teaching us the formula and enabling us to design cardigans! Now all I want is to do the raglan jumper and gansey clsses but there are none on the iKnit webby yet.

hey, this is ElshaHawk from ficly! You are an amazing knitter, and did you really take those photos on flickr? it makes mine look like a 5 yr old took them.. lol.
You asked me what LoA stands for, it's League of Awesomeness, and it's just a little club we made up to uphold the basis of Ficlets, ficly's predecessor, to comment and sequel and prequel. Anyone with LoA will comment and play fair and be active on the site. To join, just make up an awesome heroic-sounding goofy name, (like Knight of Knitting) not your screenname, let THX know about it, or me, or Mighty-Joe Young, and add LoA to your screenname, with a mention of your goofy made up name in your profile. For instance, I am the Mistress of Well-Intentioned Indecision. I wasn't sure if I wanted to join, but it was just a for fun and games kind of group. We will not refuse anyone. If you go to the ficly blog archive, gee, if you even can, I haven't tried that, THX posted a wonderful blog entry about it.
oh and welcome to ficly either way!

Thanks for the answers!

Yes, all of my flickr photos are mine unless they are scans of postcards or something similar. It is my other main hobby, when I am feeling well enough.

I used to be on ficlets and helped Kevin Lawver to test the site out a bit, even if I did not write more than one ficlet myself. I copied it to my LJ over here within my 'ficlet' tagged LJ posts (good old LJ reads from the bottom up - ick).
