One of the most popular gender stereotypes is that women ask for directions while men would rather be lost than ask for help. In your personal experience, does this stereotype hold true?
In my experience this is usually very true of the British men that I know. There are, as there are for any of these "rules of thumb", exceptions and I know a number of much better balanced men that know how/when to admit when they might be wrong, do not know everything, cannot necessarily do everything on their own and/or might need some outside help - usually men that have grown up around a lot of strong women. *smiles*
